When we’ve moved house we’re going to get a Bengal cat. What’s a Bengal cat?
“The Bengal cat is a unique breed of spotted domestic cat . It is derived from an ancestral crossing between a domestic cat and an Asian leopard cat.The name “Bengal” comes from the Latin name Feline Bengalensis . Domestic Bengals have all the Asian leopard cats stunning wild pattern , the breed itself is very friendly and affectionate , whilst retaining it’s ancestors wild looks . Bengals vary in size , males weighing in at between 14 and 20 pounds whilst females weigh between 10 and 12 pounds . Bengals are very muscular cats with long bodies . Therefore appearing larger , the Bengal is a very mischievous and boisterous cat , it is also very active and intelligent . Owners often find they are dog like in personality .
